1. Open Control Panel.
2. Go to administrative tools.
3. Click computer management.
4. Now a window will appear.
5. Click disk management on the left column now you will see all disk drives.
6. Suppose you have to hide local disk E.
7. Right click on local disk E and choose 'change drive letter and paths' now a small window will appear showing your letter 'E' click remove and then ok.
Open my computer, ypu will not see local disk E to bring back repeat the above steps but when you open disk management the drive which is hidden will be without any letter.
1. Right click on it.
2. Choose 'change drive letter and paths'.
3. Press add and than ok.
